FM Project II - Livin' The Blues

The whole CD is RAW! It’s us - live in the studio. Not twenty takes to jerk you off. It’s like listening to us live - every song was pretty much one take - keep it, it’s fine. We could have played overtracks and fills, but that’s not what you’re going to hear live, so why put any of that on a CD? There are ups and downs in volume on the CD; building tension and then releasing it. That’s meant to be. We do things like that live, and no one even knows it. If we feel that you’re not into what’s going on, one of us will do something stupid or make a stupid sound or kick our legs or something, anything, to get your attention and to keep you locked in with the band and the music so together we can forget the bullshit in life.

FM Project III - Gathering Spirits

One day, Jackie (from Strohm’s) showed Frank a rough picture of Jesus above the burning twin towers of the World Trade Center. The picture wasn’t very good, but Frank felt emotional about the whole concept of Jesus and the twin towers. That emotion formed into an idea about Jesus gathering the spirits released during the disaster.

Frank then sat down and put his feelings and thoughts into words and music, and Gathering Spirits was born.

Frank describes his vision of people running in the streets, the fear and death, the buildings burning and falling, all with Jesus above, gathering their souls and easing their pain. He saw an angel with the spirits flowing from the flames to Jesus, a fireman leading the spirits, gazing at Jesus with a look in his eyes saying “I tried to save them”. Jesus is comforting the fireman and spirits, as if to say “It’s alright, my children.”

FM Project IV - From The Heart

As many of you are aware, Frank is heavily involved with The Special Wish Foundation. This is an organization he truly believes in, and he donates much of his time, talent and money towards furthering their cause.

Several of the songs on this CD are about specific Special Wish children that Frank has personally known. The CD reflects the emotions that he has gone through while watching these children experience life in a way that so few of the rest of us can.

For those of you who know Frank, you know that his heart is huge. And when he titles a CD “From The Heart”, you also know the CD will be huge.
